Free To Air highlights of the Le Tour de France in the Uk on Channel 5 this year...

Free-to-air highlights of the Tour de France are to be shown on 5 in the UK this July, it was announced on Wednesday, after an agreement with TNT Sports.

The terrestrial channel, formerly Channel 5, has signed a deal until 2028 to show daily coverage of Tour, as well as highlights of the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España, presented by Rebecca Charlton. The station will also show live coverage of the UK Grands Départs of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in 2027. Highlights will be on 5 at 7pm every evening, starting Saturday 4 July in Barcelona.

This season will be the first season in decades that the Tour will not be shown live, in full, on television for free. In 2025, it was revealed that ITV would no longer televise the Tour, the exclusive UK rights having been sold to Warner Bros Discovery (WBD), the parent company of TNT Sports.

Live coverage in the UK will remain on TNT Sports and HBO Max, with contracts costing £30.99 a month, although it can be purchased for £25.99 a month on a 12-month contract.

It’s a sunny and dry Friday Feature 👍 although too windy to be outside 🤦‍♂️.

Some great new bikes being announced at the moment and we will have one of the best in the shop when the embargo lifts next Thursday…..👀

Plenty of e-bikes out there with the new Avinox drive system but this will be the first from a brand that really knows how to design and build one of the best and to get the very best out of any drive system.

Plus loads of great news heading out this weekend 👍 ☀️

June is the start of our busiest period of the year in the shop and also when we begin to see some new bikes being launched from our top brands that will form part of the 2027 range, trust me when I say there are some VERY special bikes coming from all our brands over the next few weeks & months!!

The new Scott Spark is one of the first of many. Bikes like these come at a price but I think sometimes we dont appreciate the R&D that goes into bringing a bike like this to life from all top brands like SCOTT.
