For those of you that know Wendy Syalon you will know she is incredibly passionate about children’s play in schools and the positive impact it has on their health, wellbeing, learning, and development. Through her work with OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning), Wendy sees every day how high-quality play transforms children’s lives. The Plan for Play campaign is calling on the Government to recognise play as a fundamental part of childhood and to create a national strategy that ensures all children have access to safe, inclusive, and enriching opportunities to play outdoors in school.
