While Ariel is cruising on the other side of the Channel, Prospero is having an adventure closer to home. She will be heading to Eastbourne and along the way visiting some interesting south coast ports that we don’t go to very often including Littlehampton, Shoreham and Newhaven. At Eastbourne to add to the entertainment the crew will be able to get a great view of the airshow as planes will often be flying right over the boat. There will be daily exhibitions including the Red Arrows,Typhoons and various international aerobatic teams and a Battle of Britain memorial flight.

Prospero leaves on Tuesday 11th August arriving at Eastbourne on Friday 14th. She will meander back on Saturday 15th arriving at Bursledon on Tuesday 18th August.

All ports are easily reached by train from London so you can join for a day or two or stay for a longer trip. It's a great opportunity to get away from the heat of London without the hassle of passport queues!

Prospero’s crew chilling after an exciting day racing in the western Solent. This morning was definitely champagne sailing in a F3-4 in bright sunshine. The afternoon proved more challenging as the wind got up to a F5 increasing to 6.
