A great start to the new sailing season with Prospero in fine form after her winter spruce up. Sailing conditions on both days were good, plenty of sun and a chilly northerly breeze. Huge wind shifts and frequent changes in wind speed made for interesting racing and changing fortunes. Prospero performed impeccably and beat arch rivals 'Banter' and 'Whooper' in several races. A great start to the new season!

Reminder - START OF SEASON PARTY

Friday 20th March 2026

BBC Club, Broadcasting House, Portland Place.

We're just over a week away from the Start of Season Party and the committee is looking forwards to seeing as many of you as possible in the BBC Club. We'll have our usual sign up sheets, we'll be going over the plans for the year and dreaming of sunny days out on the water.

There'll be food and the bar will be open. We'll be kicking off at about 18:30. If you're not a BBC Staff member, please remember to bring some government issued ID to get past reception.

It will be great to see everyone next week!
