Burntwood FC Burntwood F.C. was setup as the new face for the adult section of Burntwood Dragons & Phoenix.

The team is made up of many players who have played for the 'Dragons'. This season we have joined the Premiership of the Tamworth Sunday Football League.

For the second time in 3 weeks we've let a 2-1 lead slip in the final quarter of an hour.
As expected a tough game against a strong Core team, but after going an early goal behind the lads worked their socks off to take the lead earlier in the second half.

Burntwood had two great chances to extend the lead further but were unfortunate (again) to concede two late goals.

With several key players missing the lads still put on a great performance.

Surprisingly good playing surface considering the week's worth of rain that's fell, just unfortunately it's Redwood and not the biggest of pitches.
A dominant start for Burntwood saw us 2-0 ⚽️⚽️ up within 7 minutes, with the 3rd goal ⚽️ not coming until the 88th minute😳 which tells you more about how Fazeley reacted to the early goals than us tbf.

Happy the back four and keeper kept another clean sheet though 👏🏼🦾

Good luck to Fazeley for the rest of the season - atleast we managed to get the match done 👍🏼

A slightly unsettled week but fortunately we have an excellent squad to deal with it 👊🏼

After a nervy start with an untested back line we soon found our feet, and by the break found ourselves 2-1 up, and early into the 2nd half (after a Bulls Head sin-bin 🟨) extended to a 5-1 lead.

A brace a piece for new striker Dan L and Luke C, with Lance B grabbing the other.

An excellent team performance through out with Jake D, Dan L, Kie T, Charlie C & Tom P all standing out 👏🏼

With performances like this we'll soon have to look at paying them 💷😉
