Kinghorn Children's Gala is an annual community event in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland usually held during the first full week in June. Each year a "Royal Party" is chosen from local Primary School children, consisting of a Queen and King (from P7) and two attendants (from P3). Events begin on Sunday with the Crowning of the Queen as part of a day of varying events including a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial. The week culminates the following Saturday with a colourful parade through the town and the Gala party at night. Other events take place throughout the week including sports Competition, Treasure Hunt. Please see this page and our insta for further details. The Gala is organised and run by a committee of local adult volunteers.
