What can I say about this young girl? Level 1 passed with ease. Pure, natural talent. She is an instructor's dream to teach. Kean to learn, never misses a lesson and gives 100% every lesson. Well done Olivia. Big thanks to Darren for his time too.

I've been coaching in Martial Arts for around 26 years and have learned a lot from my time teaching any age, s*x, colour and ability. Each student challenges you in different ways but it's always great to watch them grow and develop.

Since running my own martial arts school Darren Clegg has been my longest serving senior and has been a real pleasure to teach. My own style of martial arts has meant that Darren has been the forefront of 'Free Flowing Hands' and as helped my Art and its methods become what they are today. Like a pianist learning a new song or an artist painting a new picture, they hope the finished article is something like they had imagined in their head. This is the same as a coach, I have seen where I want my Art to go and through Darren it is slowly becoming my masterpiece.

Darren is always keen, willing and ready to learn and always sees the bigger picture, as I do. He works hard, gives 100% always. Very rarely misses and is always respectful.

Today I awarded my prodigy with a Black Belt 1st Dan Grade after a gruelling 2 hour test. Through the sweat, bruises and hundreds of energy sapping techniques he finally passed. At times he left Tony Lavelle and myself in awe of his style, grit and determination.

I am very proud of Darren as you can tell. You get out of life what you put in and he truly deserves this recognition.

Big well done to Harris, this lad is leading the way in the junior section and setting the standards very high. Good grading, worked hard and I can't wait to see this kid in a few years, he is going to be awesome.
