15 years…
It’s strange looking back and thinking how much has changed since Josh and I first started working together back in 2011.
Back then we were just two coaches with a huge passion for helping people improve their health and fitness. We had big ambitions, but neither of us could have imagined where that journey would take us.
Thousands of members.
Countless transformations.
An incredible coaching team.
A community we’re both immensely proud of.
Over those 15 years, our own lives have changed too.
Our families have grown, our priorities have naturally evolved and we’ve spent a lot of time talking about what the next chapter should look like—not just for the business, but for ourselves too.
If I’m honest, almost every family meal, holiday or get-together over the last 15 years has somehow ended up with us talking about work! It became part of who we were.
Eventually we realised something.
This wasn’t about walking away from what we’d built.
It was about giving ourselves the opportunity to focus on the things we’re each most passionate about, while creating a little more time for the people who matter most.
Josh now gets to dedicate more of his time to specialist coaching, mentoring and education.
I get to focus on leading The Training Club and continuing to build the best coaching community we possibly can.
It wasn’t a decision made overnight, and it certainly wasn’t one made by one person. It was a decision we made together because we genuinely believe it’s the right one.
FX will always be a huge part of our story. It represented an incredible chapter of our lives, and I’m immensely proud of everything we achieved together under that name.
But every chapter has to lead somewhere, and for me this felt like the right time for a new identity.
The Training Club isn’t a fresh start.
It’s the next chapter, built on the solid foundations that Josh and I have spent the last 15 years creating together.
The truth is, I still feel like I haven’t quite caught my breath.
It’s only been a couple of months, and there’s still so much I want us to improve. That’s the exciting part.
We’re busier than we’ve been for a long time, our team are embracing the challenge and every week we’re finding new ways to get better.
We’re not the finished article—and I don’t think we ever will be.
The day we think we’ve made it is probably the day we stop improving.
So we’ll keep learning.
We’ll keep investing.
We’ll keep raising the standard.
We’ll keep pushing ourselves to stay at the front of our industry and continue building on everything that’s brought us to this point.
As our motto says…
“Let others come after us… we welcome the chase.”
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the last 15 years.
Here’s to the next chapter.
