Burnley FC in the Community is a self-financing registered charity (no; 1155856) with a mission to support communities, inspire communities and deliver change in communities. This is achieved through the delivery of three community objectives:

To provide tangible community outcomes across our key themes of work including Education & Employability, Community Welfare & Inclusion, Football Development and our Community Facilities. To be a self-financing, viable charity embedded within the ethos of the football club. To work with individuals and organisations to establish strong partnerships to develop and deliver worthwhile and beneficial community projects. Burnley FC in the Community is committed to developing a range of community based projects to benefit the region of East Lancashire.

Pre-season is in full swing for our Football & Education Programme 2026/27 squad! ⚽️🔥

The players have already tested themselves against strong opposition, taking on Robbie Fowler Academy, Pro Elite Academy, Accrington Stanley and UFCA.

Each fixture has been an important step in the team's development, helping players build relationships, grow in confidence and prepare for the challenges ahead.

The hard work continues, but the foundations are already being laid for an exciting season. 💪

Our newest Burnley FC Academy scholars have officially begun their Academy in the Community journey! ⚽️💜

Two weeks ago, our newest Burnley FC Academy scholars were welcomed onto the Academy in the Community programme, giving them the opportunity to meet and connect with people from the communities they proudly represent.

The experience gave the scholars a first-hand insight into the positive impact of community programmes and the important role they can play in supporting local people both on and off the pitch.

💬 Johanan Lo-Tutala, First-Year Scholar, said:

"The experience helped me better understand the community and the impact Burnley FC in the Community's projects have on people across Burnley."

We're incredibly proud of the way our scholars embraced the day and can't wait to see the positive impact they continue to make across our communities in the years ahead.
