Brunlea Badminton Club offers competitive and social opportunities to play Badminton in a friendly environment. There is a weekly club night from 8pm to 10pm on Thursday evenings in the Sports Hall at St Peter's Sports Centre, Church, St, Burnley, the charge per session is £6. New players are always welcome, however some badminton experience is desirable. The Club also has teams and compete in the

Nelson and District and Rossendale Badminton Leagues. For further information please message us or simply call into to one of the Thursday Club Nights.

Just an update. The club has decided to pause new members for the time being. The club has grown from what it was which is great. However the number of courts we are able to use is not sufficient. The committee is having discussions but in the mean time it is important all new perspective members reach out using the two forms of communication available. Secondly don’t just turn up without checking as the club probably will need to turn you away.

This policy is under review and thanks in advance for your cooperation.

For information, there will be no badminton this Thursday 1st May due to the closure of St Peter's Centre sports hall for the election count. We will be back to normal the following week 8th May 🏸

Just to let people know the sports centre hall has been completed so we are back on as normal tonight at St Peter’s at the usual time.

Due to the closure of St Peter's Centre for refurbishment, practice sessions will be at Pendle Leisure Centre, Crown Way, Colne, BB8 9NP until mid July, Thursday 8-10pm in the main sports hall.
