This was a session I won't forget. Phoebe never doubted herself. She knew she had it in her. She just needed the right equipment, guidance and encouragement at the right time.

I won't ever give up on a child or their family if they want to enjoy the freedom and fun that cycling can bring.

This brings a smile to my face.

A little last-minute opportunity has opened up for tomorrow at 12:45pm.

One of my CycleKids families had an unexpected trip to A&E yesterday, so their child understandably needs a little more time to recover. The last thing I wanted was for the family to worry about losing the money they had paid, so I’ve moved their session to a later date at no extra cost.

That does leave a space in what was originally a fully booked day, and I’d love to turn it into a Super Saturday for another child.

You’ll get my complete one-to-one support, with the goal of helping your child become a happy, confident and independent cyclist, not simply getting them pedalling.

Tomorrow is our final Community CycleTots session... and I'd absolutely love to see a full hall. ❤️

Whether you're one of our regular little riders or you've joined us before, it'd be amazing to celebrate everything we've achieved together.

This isn't goodbye though! I'm working hard behind the scenes to bring CycleTots into more nurseries, preschools and schools across the area. Running sessions through local settings makes them more affordable for families and means even more children get the chance to fall in love with riding.

If you'd like CycleTots at your child's nursery, preschool or school, have a chat with them and ask them to get in touch. Together we can help even more little ones build confidence on two wheels.

At the start of our ride to school, I challenged Jennifer to try taking one hand off the handlebars to signal.

She was nervous and convinced she couldn’t do it.

Then, less than 15 minutes later and just before reaching school, out came a signal to the left… followed by this one to the right!

Children’s confidence can grow so quickly when they’re given the chance to try.

Honestly, how cool is that?

Making space on my phone and came across this little moment.

That smile was caused by a wonderful message from Mel. One of those messages that stops you in your tracks and reminds you why all the hard work is worth it.

Teaching a child to ride is special. Hearing what that confidence has meant to their family hits completely differently.
