We’ve been using high-strength magnetic rubberised neodymium in our products recently, and thought that it’d make a great addition to our range of hook and loop patches.

The Mag Patch is made from flexible yet powerful neodymium rubber material, easily capable of holding surprisingly heavy tools as well as small parts and screws. The exact weight capacity will depend on the type of steel used in the tool and the area in direct contact with the patch, but for reference it will easily vertically hold a 500g block of mild steel.

The Mag Patch is a fantastic addition to outdoor clothing and equipment. Perfect for fishing; enough space to hold many fishing flies, lures or de-hooking pliers. MagneTags are versatile magnetic tags that can be looped onto many small objects to hang them from metal surfaces; sets of keys, small tools, charging cables and small flashlights are examples of useful applications.

The neodymium magnetic surface gives a vertical hold of up to 125g on sheet steel surfaces, such as metal cabinets, steel fridges or vehicles - enough to hold most sets of keys, a pair of scissors, etc.

The rear of the MagneTag features a bright photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) disc that ‘charges’ through sunlight or artificial light to produce a glow, visible for up to 12 hours after. This makes it ideal for power cut emergencies or otherwise marking your gear in the dark.

We have a new product released today - a pocket-sized clamshell magnetic parts tray / storage box, which we’ve imaginatively called the Magnetic Pocket Case.

The compact case can open out flat, working as a two-section magnetic parts tray. The two powerful neodymium 80x50mm surfaces are capable of securely holding many small metal parts such as screws, bits, bolts or springs.

It’s ideal to have for DIY repair work on electronic equipment, hobbies and projects. Also very useful for fishing - making a fantastic fishing fly box, or for storing rig-making hardware in an easily-accessible manner.
