💙 Thank you, Nic 💙
Yesterday marked Nic’s final day as Head Coach of Academy Swim Team, and while we know she didn’t want a big fuss, we couldn’t let the moment pass without saying a heartfelt thank you.
Nic has been part of AST for an incredible 13 years, helping, supporting and coaching hundreds of children along the way. From countless training sessions and early mornings to galas, open meets, club events and plenty of fun in between, she has given an enormous amount to our club and its swimmers.
Throughout those years, Nic’s dedication, kindness and incredible work ethic have always shone through. The time and energy she has given to AST, all while juggling a full-time job, is something we are hugely grateful for.
Two years ago, Nic stepped into the role of Head Coach and has since helped guide the club through another important chapter. During that time, she oversaw the introduction of our Junior Squad, welcoming many new swimmers and their families into AST and helping them take their first steps within the club.
Thirteen years is a huge part of AST's story, and Nic should be incredibly proud of the difference she has made to so many swimmers and families during that time.
Nic will always be part of the AST family, and while we're respecting her wish to slip away without too much fuss, we hope she knows just how appreciated she is.
Our door will always be open, Nic, and we'd be more than thrilled to see you back again one day soon! 💙
