Some of the Phoenix ladies spent an evening over the weekend at the fantastic tournament hosted by Ringmer Ladies 👏

We had some great goals, amazing pieces of play and immense laughs🤪💃

And an excellent performance from our Player of the Tournament…. SARA!! Sara is usually a defender, but this tournament saw her playing up front and on the attacking line for Phoenix💪🐦‍🔥

We started training with a warm up, a game of tag to get us moving and then some throw-in practice💪⚽️

Then of course we went into some match play to put our training to the test! This game ended 1-0 to the bibbed team🥳

We took on .ladiesrec last night in an action-packed fixture at home which resulted in a draw with each side sharing the points🔗

An amazing effort from both teams up and down the pitch, and fantastic goals from both sides made this match truly nail-biting 🫣

Our goals came from:

- Steph assisted by Naomi
- Naomi assisted by Jo

Absolutely incredible goals and assists (match highlights coming soon⏰)

Special shout out to Sophie and Lucy P for each doing a stint in goal as we had no keeper for this fixture!
