🏏⚽ The Hillians will be swapping football boots for cricket bats on Sunday 12th July as we take on St Andrews Cricket Club for their annual Club Day!

Join us for a fantastic day of sport, fun and entertainment as Burgess Hill Town FC head across for an exciting cricket fixture and a full day of activities for all ages.

There’ll be plenty going on throughout the day including junior cricket, a bouncy castle, BBQ, bar, cake sale, face painting and live coverage from Mid Sussex Radio.

Bring the family along, show your support and enjoy what promises to be a brilliant day for everyone involved.

Burgess Hill Town FC are pleased to announce that player sponsorships are now open for the 2026/27 season.

Support the Club and sponsor your favourite player for the new season, with your name or business featured in the matchday programme and on the Club website throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

Sponsors will also receive the opportunity to have their picture taken with their chosen player, which will be shared across the Club’s social media channels.

Player sponsorship is priced at £150 for both the home and away kit, or £75 for either the home or away kit only.

Five more players from the Hillians league and cup winning U18’s have signed up for the new season.

Following the news at the weekend that Jake King had signed first team forms the Hill can confirm that Luca Oliva, Grey Coleman, Henry Yorke-Johnson, Harvey Wheeler and Thomas Sekyere will all step up to first team environment for the 26/27 season.

All 6 of them will also feature in the Hillians new U19’s academy too.

Manager Gary Mansell said “We are really pleased to welcome the boys into our 1st team set up. After a brilliant season with the U18s we were always keen to support their development further. Our new academy set up allows us to work closely with them while they also benefit from being part of our senior squad. The club takes prides its recent record of young players developing through our pathway so it’s great to see the next group make the step up.”

Burgess Hill Town are pleased to announce that Jay Beckford has been retained for the 2026/27 season.

Jay endured an injury-disrupted campaign last season but returned for the closing stages of the season, and we are delighted to confirm that he is on track to be fully involved when pre-season training gets underway.

The 26-year-old wide player rejoined the Hillians from Sittingbourne during the 2024/25 season and played a key role in the Club's promotion-winning campaign. One of the standout moments of that season came in the play-off final, where Jay produced an excellent performance against his former club as the Hillians secured promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division.

Before returning to Leylands Park, Jay enjoyed spells with Sittingbourne and National League South side Eastbourne Borough. His footballing journey began in the youth ranks at Arsenal, where he featured for the Gunners' Under-18 side before moving abroad. He went on to play in Norway for Lillehammer FK and Gjøvik-Lyn, followed by a spell in Sweden with Ytterhogdals IK. Returning to England in 2022, Jay joined Wingate & Finchley before making the step up to Eastbourne Borough.

With his pace and attacking quality, Jay will be a welcome addition to the squad as he returns to full fitness ahead of the new season.
