❄️ Struggling with fitness goals already this January?
Pause for a moment. Take a breath.
📜 A little history:
January was never meant to be the start of change.
For centuries, the new year began on 1st March — which is why October comes from oct (meaning eight).
🌱 Winter was for rest, recovery, and survival — not reinvention.
So if your energy is low, if you’re not ready to come out of hibernation, that doesn’t mean you’re failing.
🧠 It may mean your body is doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Instead of forcing big change, slow it down 🐢
📝 Use winter to prepare:
✔️ Think about where you want to be by summer ☀️
✔️ Build small, manageable habits
✔️ Visit a couple of gyms — see what actually suits you
✔️ Reach out to personal trainers — find the right fit
✔️ Try tracking apps and keep the one you like 📱
✔️ Look into new trainers or simple home equipment
✔️ Improve one or two things at a time - drink habits, snacking, movement!
🌼 Nature doesn’t bloom in January.
It prepares.
💛 Don’t give up now.
💛 Don’t give up in February.
When March, April, May arrive, energy rises — and the changes you’ve quietly put in place will stick.
✨ You’re not behind.
You’re just early ♥️
