And trust me, mum life is like an endurance event!

You’re about to spend your days lifting car seats, carrying babies, loaded up with bags and somehow picking things up off the floor whilst holding a child.

All on less sleep than a night out in your 20s!

So no, this isn’t about smashing PBs or shaping up

It’s about building a strong body that can handle pregnancy, labour, recovery and the chaos that comes after.

Because once that baby arrives, there are no rest days. Just a tiny human who has absolutely no respect for your recovery needs 😂

So if you’re pregnant, don’t assume you need to stop training.

Us women are so quick to pick our selves apart and focus on what we think are ‘flaws’

As women and mums, our bodies go through SO much. Pregnancy, weight changes, hormones, stress, sleepless nights, years of putting everyone else first
 and yet we stand in front of the mirror and criticise the very body that carried us through it all.

Loose skin. Stretch marks. Cellulite. Softer areas.
None of those things make your body bad.
They make it real.

It’s time to be kinder to ourselves.
Your body deserves that.

Oh and stop comparing yourself to others, especially online.

I’ve had many meltdowns this time round and struggled with various issues, it’s not all been easy but we got there đŸ€Ș

Will still be chipping away as usual but looking forward to relaxing off a bit and enjoying my holiday next week. ☀ đŸč😉

What do you keep waiting for?

Yes there are sacrifices.
Yes you have to get out of that comfort zone.
And no, not every day is going to be perfect, and that’s okay.

But the quicker you lean into this the faster things change.

You’ll start feel proud of yourself, happier in your skin and more confident.

After that it all becomes so much easier.

What ever the goal just start.
Because nothing changes if you don’t đŸ©·

This is your sign to sort your week out.

If your mood’s been off, your energy is low and you feel like you’re dragging yourself through the week
 this is for you.

Let’s keep it simple

-Get outside and walk! đŸš¶â€â™€ïž
If you can walk there walk, or if it’s a quick 10mins around the block, it all helps. Get out in the sunshine and nature, clear your mind and move your body 🍃

-Drink that water 💩
2L if you can. Even mild dehydration causes fatigue, plus your body and skin will thank you!

-Get some nutrients in you!
I know how we all hated being told to eat our vegetables growing up! 😆 But it’s Important. Nutrient dense foods will help energise and give you brain power. Think fruits, whole grains, proteins, healthy fats.

-Sleep đŸ’€
7-9 hours if you can. I get it for some with young children this can be a challenge but do what you can.
The rest of you
 get to bed earlier and stop scrolling 😁

That’s it
 nothing crazy or extreme. The bare minimum of what your body needs to function at its best.

Because when you start feeling better in yourself
You show up better.
You think clearer.
You have more patience.
More energy.
More motivation

And everyone around you benefits from that.
When you’re feeling your best, everything else feels easier.

Ticking all the boxes! âŹ‡ïž

I’ve been locked in, food on point, training hard and the step game has been upped!

Walking any where and everywhere has been the biggest change this last week.
-Mood is up (this is usually a time of the month where I struggle badly)
-Energy high
-Significant drop on the scales after being stuck.

What’s great is the feeling of accomplishment.
When you stick to what you say you’d do and start seeing the benefits/results there’s no stopping you!

How many times have you promised yourself you’ll stick to the plan then felt absolutely rubbish by Friday because it’s all gone to đŸ’© and you caved into every single craving and didn’t exercise.

If you aren’t happy right now then something’s got to change right?
Put in the work, make the sacrifices and stay focused.
You won’t regret it! đŸ©·
