With this weeks extreme heat, I have taken the exceptional decision to cancel classes. For those who know me, you will know this is an unusual decision, but I think safety takes precedence. The interim grading tomorrow is still on, but my Wed-Fri classes are cancelled. Have a good week, take care in the heat, have more ice cream. See you in class next week. Celebrating my students is one of the greatest parts of my role as their instructor.

So today we get to celebrate Hugo, who last week after several hours of testing, passed his 1st Degree Taekwondo black belt grading.

After initially training elsewhere, Hugo joined our Martley club when we first opened just over 3 1/2 years ago, since then has shown dedication in his training, taken on a role as a junior team leader and helped develop other junior members of the club.

We look forward to seeing what he does next on his journey beyond black belt.
