Megan started dancing with BSD age three and participated in ballet, tap and modern classes in her years with us. Megan’s favourite genre was Tap and her favourite show memory was ‘In Miss Christina’s Garden’ as she was very excited to get a Bee costume. We are really excited to welcome her back for the Alumni Dance at our showcase.

Another of our alumni dancers performing at the weekend is Chloe. Following BSD, dance continued to be a huge part of Chloe’s life at university. As part of the dance team she competed nationally winning numerous awards not only as a member of the group team but also as a solo dancer. It’s lovely to welcome back Chloe and so many of our former pupils for our Showcase at the weekend. 😊

Wow!!! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🙌 to 5 of our students who have been accepted to … Royal Ballet School Junior Associate on-line classes and SWL for the London centre x 3 places!! and Tring Park Classical Ballet Academy x 3 places!!
These are fantastic achievements for prestigious ballet schemes and very few places are awarded. Keep up the hard work Ariella, Georgia, Livvy, Maisy & Ophelia!

Miss Josie reflects on her dance journey as she looks forward to joining with the others in the Alumni dance at the Showcase. ‘I have been dancing since the age of three, starting at BSD, and it has been a constant throughout my life, shaping me into the person I am today. While I might not have listened in every ballet lesson along the way, each experience has contributed to my growth and confidence. After my time at BSD, I went on to attend dance college at 16 to train professionally, which further developed both my skills and dedication to dance. Dance is such a big part of my life and now alongside working full time, I still teach part time for BSD. Dance remains a huge part of who I am today ❤️’
