🎪ALEX MOORE FESTIVAL🎪
Norfolk Gazelle's Festival took place at the Norfolk Showground at the weekend.
The festival combined two much-loved races from the Norfolk running calendar – the Alex Moore Relay and The Big Stampede – into one exciting morning of racing and celebration at the Norfolk Showground.
The club entered 5 teams, with our three female runners winning their Female Vets Category, under the appropriately named team name "Speedy Spaniels" in an excellent time of 01:19:09.

In the 2km children's race; well done to Asher Bennett and Emily Bachelor. Emily was 3rd overall in the female race!

In the 5km individual race: great running from Ernie McGill, showing his dad, Byron McGill, how it's done!, Oscar Ives and Philip Neave.
Philip won his age category and Byron was 2nd in his.

📷thank you for the great team shots!

🏰 FRAMINGHAM 5 MILE🏰
Jo Cox reports:
"Hosted by the fabulously friendly Framlingham Flyers this five miler was a slightly undulating single lap along some beautiful Suffolk country roads.

There was a pack of 5 black dogs with Michael Balls the first one home, followed by Kai Gibbon, Joanne Cox, Bobbie Sauerzapf and Caroline Cox-Hartigan.

It was a great club event, with many different vests on show. Highly recommend this series if you’re missing the Great Yarmouth 5’s and looking for some Suffolk scenery!"

🇹🇭And Mitzy Bond reports from Thailand:
"At 5.30am this morning, I completed the Hua Hin mini marathon in 32 degrees (some on sand🥵). It was absolutely horrendous weather for running but some did the half and full marathons too!
I took a leaf out of Lucy's book and just relaxed, enjoyed the atmosphere and finished smiling; see you soon."
