As a child growing up in Bungay I was always intrigued by the 'BBC' gate which sat proudly at the front entrance of the Bungay Bowls Club.
In the 18 years' of growing up in Bungay, I never walked beyond the gate to enquire what existed behind it!
Until last week that is....
The Bungay Bowls Club held an open day last Saturday encouraging new members to join the club and try bowls for the very first time. I sadly didn't try, but got some lovely snaps of new members having a fantastic time.🙌
The club, in its effort to engage with new members are holding open days every Saturday between 10am-12pm, for teaching and training.
If you fancy taking up a new sport, and keeping it local, we highly recommend popping along - it looks like a lot of fun!
