An 11 goal thriller yesterday!! The teams were only separated by an 89th minute scissor kick by Bunessan’s Colin Tindal.

A fantastic £605 was raised on the day for the Isle of Mull All-Weather Indoor Sports Hall. Big thanks to everyone who donated prizes!

Big shout out to the Tobermory Rockers for travelling down to take part in the kids matches, and Bunessan Inn for hosting the post-match meals!

You might think Celtic V Hearts is the most important game in Scotland tomorrow but you’d be wrong. Bunessan FC take on a North Mull select in what should be a tasty encounter.
The ground staff have been busy preparing the 11-a-side pitch and setting up the VAR cameras at the BunesSan Siro. Come along and support your teams!

Raffle tickets on sale all day at the pitch and later on at Bunessan Inn - £5/strip. All proceeds go to the Isle of Mull All-Weather Indoor Sports Hall. Message this page if you’d like to buy tickets but can’t be there on the day.

Prizes include: Hamper of local produce, £100 worth of meal vouchers, bottles & merch.

Raffle will be drawn by Treshnish at the Bunessan Inn before 10pm.

11-a-side football returns to Mull.

Saturday 16th May in Bunessan.

Grudge match between North and South. Even the kids are getting involved.

We are hoping to raise funds for the Isle of Mull All-Weather Indoor Sports Hall too.

New year, new you??

If you have managed to keep up your running resolution this long, why not enter the Ross of Mull’s premier racing event?! 🏃🏃‍♀️🏆

And if you gave up 1 week into January, give it a bash anyway.

Remember, behind every star athlete is an energetic support so if you're not running, make sure to fuel yourself up at the BBQ ready to cheer the runners over the finishing line.

Proceeds from the BBQ support the local kids' sports clubs so eat as many burgers as you can! 🍔🌭

Rumour has it that Donald John is making his way over from the World Cup Finals to present the Jules Rimet to the winners... 🍊🇺🇸

That was another hugely successful return for the Bunessan 5s. The biggest roster ever!

None of this would've been possible without the help and support of local legends and businesses.

With 25 teams attending on the day, this has been our largest tournament to date!!

Here are the results!:

Men’s Gold Cup - Duds FC (who last won the event 19-ish years ago 😮🫡)
Women’s Gold Cup - Kilchoan Ladies
Men’s plate - Seaton

Player of the tournament - Paul Kerr (Duds FC)
Woman’s player of the tournament - Ellie MacInnes (Dervaig)
Young player of the tournament - Cameron MacInnes (Iona FC)

Goal of the tournament - Euan Mackie (FC Berto)

We also had an extra woman’s “Mull Challenge Cup” this year won by Bunessan Ladies against Dervaig.

We had Patrick Carmichael from our sponsors Inverlussa Marine Services presenting the awards (as well as playing for Plate winners Seaton)

Well what can we say, an absolutely outstanding tournament at today’s Inverlussa Marine Services Bunessan 5’s.

We will post all the winners tomorrow once the dust settles.

For now, all roads lead to the Bunessan Inn for the after party!

As you all know, the Bunessan 5s is run by volunteers with the aim of raising funds to encourage greater sporting opportunities in our community.

Well, we don't just deliver the best football tournament in the world, we also help with the best Easter Run in the world, too!

Various races for all levels of runner, BBQ and drinks to refuel, and don't forget to enter the Duck Race, too (organised by the Ross of Mull Historical Society).
