MTB-Marathon Series A series of mountain bike events, held across the UK. Offering a variety of distances to suit all abilities from novice to elite

UK's longest standing MTB event series, a firm fixture on the calendar any any serious mountain biker since 1999. A series of marathons offering one lap courses in fabulous locations, a real mountain experience for all. there are 3 or 4 distances on offer at all the events. The events also include free camping, entertainment, finisher t-shirt, pasta meal, showers.

Not the announcement we wanted to be making…

We would like to thank everyone for their support but unfortunately we don’t have enough entries to cover our costs. We were hoping that the good weather over the last couple of days might encourage a few last minute entries this week but it still hasn’t been enough. So, for 2024 we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Exposure lights Big Night Out and the Hope MTB Marathon in Ruthin.

Unfortunately, we currently don't have enough entries for the Exposure Lights Big Night Out in Ruthin to be financially viable. If we don't have enough entries by this time next week, we will have to cancel the night ride. So, if you were planning to ride, please get your entries in now.

If we do have to cancel, all entry fees for the Exposure Lights Big Night Out will be refunded for anyone who has pre entered.

Not sure what tyres to ride on for the Hope Marathon in Ruthin? Schwalbe have a range of different options for you to choose from.

I have been using a Racing Ray and a Racing Ralph all summer as the ground has been dry and hard, these tyres offer amazing grip and are also super fast rolling🙃
