🐂 Awards night 2025/26 🐂

On Saturday night the club held its annual dinner and awards night to celebrate the blood, sweat and tears on and off the field this past season, and to toast the achievements of our players 🏆

Both 1st and reserve team management reflected on tough seasons, with Shane Claridge (hugely backed by Steve Jarvis, Rob Saunders and Paul Greenway) coming in half through the season and steering the ressies to a 5th placed finish, after sterling work previously from Brad Rollinson

Meanwhile, 1st team manager Jason Samuel described keeping the Bulls in the Lock Stock Ardal North East League as his greatest achievement as a manger, after a turbulent season. However, the lads shone down the stretch and staved off relegation, which included beating runaway champions Llanuwchllyn 👊🏻

Congrats to this year’s award winners:

⚽️ 1st team top scorer - Jamie Evans
🏆 1st team supporters’ player - Harry Edwards
🏆 1st team manager’s player - Ryan Powell
🏆 1st team players’ player - Ryan Powell

⚽️ Reserve team top scorer - Blake Evans
🏆 Reserve team supporters player - Keegan McGing
🏆 Reserve team manager’s player - Jack Hughes
🏆 Reserve team players’ player - Keegan McGing & Blake Evans

Well done lads 💛🖤🐂

Club statement:

Builth Wells Football Club is seeking a new manager to lead the 1st team into the 2026/27 season.

In recent years we’ve established ourselves as a solid team in Tier 3 of Welsh football, having completed a third straight season in the Ardal North East League. After many years involved with The Bulls, and countless hours put in to the job, Jason Samuel is stepping down, and the club is on the search for his replacement.

Having recently secured our Tier 3 status yet again for the upcoming season, things are in place for the new manager to pick up the baton and drive The Bulls onwards and upwards.

Anyone seeking to apply for the job can, as a first step, make their interest in the post known by getting in touch with our chairman, Tom Price, on 07810 828973

Please come along to this year’s AGM. To be held Tuesday, June 2, at the clubhouse, at 7pm.

As ever, grassroots football clubs like Builth are run on volunteer power and the blood, sweat and tears of people who truly love this club.

The number of people on the committee has been too low for too long. We desperately need more numbers to come on board, with fresh ideas, energy and a willingness to work towards taking The Bulls forward 💛🖤🐂

Great photos, as always! DRL Photography 🐂🟠⚫️
