🚛 BUCKLEBURY EQUESTRIAN – TRAVEL INFORMATION

Following how well the traffic system worked at our last Bucklebury event, we’ll now be using this route for all USJL events at Bucklebury Equestrian.

The final approach includes a narrow single-track section with very limited passing places, so the aim is simple — to keep everyone travelling in the same direction and make arriving as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

⛔️ PLEASE DO NOT use the postcode for Bucklebury Equestrian.

Instead, please use the appropriate checkpoint below and then follow our yellow USJL show signs.

Travelling from the Oxfordshire/A34
📍 Checkpoint 1: RG18 9UL
Brockhurst School

Travelling from Reading/Thatcham/M4
📍 Checkpoint 2: RG7 6PD
The Bladebone Pub

As you approach The Bladebone, the pub will be on your left. Bear right and you’ll immediately pick up the yellow show signs.

🟡 From both checkpoints, simply follow the yellow directional signs all the way to the venue.

The map below also shows the one-way traffic system in place around Bucklebury Equestrian.
Please follow the arrows shown and do not approach the venue from the opposite direction.

📱 Please be aware that mobile signal around Bucklebury can be very patchy, so we strongly recommend having a look at the route before you set off.

Don’t worry if your signal disappears though — the route will be clearly signposted from both checkpoints to guide you all the way in.

We’re absolutely delighted by all the amazing and positive feedback from everyone who has been using the facilities at Bucklebury Equestrian!

It’s been a very busy few days, with bookings pouring in not only for the new arena, but also for the cross-country course.

Last Thursday, Sarah Schofield ran a clinic in the new arena with 12 horses — and due to such high demand, she returned on Friday for another fully booked clinic with another 12 horses! 🎉🐎

Here’s what Sarah had to say:
“We had a fab couple of days at Bucklebury with a mass of positive feedback about the new arena. People love it – it’s a great addition. Brilliant day.”
