West Oxley Kings Cricket Club With a motto ‘Team work makes dreams work’, in the summer of 2013, a few but enthusiastic and avid cricket lovers formed the West Oxley Kings Cricket Club.

We are magnanimous in our win and gracious in our loss. We believe in playing in right spirit and improving our cricket is more important than winning at all cost. On Field Behavior
Time keeping
We expect everyone to be on the field at least 30 minutes before the start time for away games and at least 45 minutes for home games. Team work
We help team members on and off the field. That includes offering lifts to and from the ground, setting up ground for home games etc. Playing in the spirit of the game
We treat the opposition and the match officials with respect. Sometimes the on field decisions can go against us but we don’t expect excessive appealing for decisions and arguing with the umpires. Team decisions
On field team decisions are to be taken by the captain e.g. field settings, batting order etc. He may choose to delegate some of the responsibilities to certain individuals if needed. Food during the games
Lunches are normally provided by the home team. But because of the covid restrictions this has not been possible for last two years. Club has provided the lunch for both away and home games for the team last year. We expect this year to be a normal year but you can choose to bring your own food if you want to.

Leading WOKS 2nd XI for the second consecutive season, Mohit Trivedi has been a key part of the club since 2021.

Known for his calm presence on the field and his unwavering support for teammates both on and off it, Mohit has earned the respect and appreciation of everyone in the squad. He leads with composure, commitment, and a team-first attitude.

A dependable batsman, Mohit is also our reliable backup wicketkeeper and can chip in with some useful medium-pace bowling when the team needs it.3

Off the field, you'll find him enjoying hybrid training, hiking, travelling, street fashion, and films. And if that wasn't impressive enough, he once completed 1,000 bodyweight squats in a single hour during an internal gym competition! 💪

A cornerstone of the club since 2015, Hemant Bharadwaj has been leading the WOKS 1st XI with passion, energy, and commitment.

Known for his batting and wicketkeeping abilities, Hemant is the kind of player who leads by example. Whether he's behind the stumps, at the crease, or guiding the team on the field, his enthusiasm and competitive spirit are always on display.

There's never a dull moment when Hemant is around. His energy is infectious, and you'll often hear him motivating teammates, lifting spirits, and encouraging everyone to give their best from the first ball to the last.

Away from cricket, Hemant enjoys listening to old Bollywood music and is a big admirer of Virat Kohli.
