2. Small Group Personal Training

Barrier Number 10 - Cost

A fitness journey can be as costly as you make it.

A good comfortable pair of shoes is all you need to get your journey started.

The next step from there would possibly be a gym membership and some specific gym clothes.

Moving on you’re going to start introducing potentially gym accessories. This can be anything from lifting straps to your getting yourself a fitness tracking watch.

Finally a cost you’re likely to experience is when you invest in a coach.

Put simply yes a fitness journey can cost you hundreds of pounds a month but it really doesn’t have too. You can start your journey for free, you e just got your have the motivation to do so.

🚨BARRIERS TO EXERCISE🚨

Barrier Number 9 - Motivation

Motivation can be affected by a numbers of things during your fitness journey, below are some reasons you may find causing low motivation levels.

1. Your goal being too big and overwhelming, causing you to struggle seeing a clear path from A to B

2. Having lack of support on your journey can easily filter into you having low motivation levels, having a go to person on your journey can make all the difference.

3. Being burnt out will cause you to become demotivated. There are a number of reasons for feeling this way, stress from work, busy non stop home life, training too much or quite simply all the above.

4. Self doubt can definitely alter your motivation levels by overthinking and talking yourself out of doing something you know is going to benefit you.

The most underused tool in regard to managing burnout is quite simply taking some time off, a Deload week will never set you back but can definitely recharge you and push you on to achieving your goals.
