Finally we had our final fixtures of the season, with 12 teams its been a long season. Would like to thank all the teams for sticking with the season for over 35 weeks.

Buckingham Star League League Champions - Goals Aloud

Team: Evan Walters, Jamie Robinson, Jacob Ballinger, Sam Henkin, Louis Howitt, Luis Abreu, Dan Fairhome, Cam Thomas.

Much closer than previous seasons Goals Aloud played 22, won 18, drew 3 and lost one. They won the league by 3 points, with runners up Buckingham University pushing them close all season, scoring 136.
This is Goals Aloud's last season with them winning the league in all three seasons and winning the cup double last season. In total over the three seasons they've scored 415 goals, over a 80% win rate and won 4 titles. (Photo 1)

Buckingham Star League Swan Shield Winners - Unathletic Bilboa

Team: George Clarke, Luke Tavener, Jordan Tavener, Sam McCarthy, Cam Thomas, Ben Thomas, Ryan Dumbarton

The final was a two legged tie, with penalties deciding it if both teams won a match. First match Mursley Marvels edged it in a 2-1 win. Unathletic tightened up the defense in the second match and won 1-0. With both teams winning a match penalties would decide the winner. After all the outfield players had taken penalties it was the goalkeepers turn which Andy Whitehead held his nerve to secure the win for Unathletic Bilboa. (Photo 2)

Buckingham Star League Swan Plate Winners - Accrington Shambles

Team: Shane Pearce, Niall Jeacock, Josh Bell, Russell Plumridge, Kieran Jones, Jason Davies, Matt Newton, Jack (gk)

Again the plate final was over two legs, with each match needing a winner. The matches turned out to be very tight with few chances, both turned out to be a draw, the first 1-1 and second 0-0, it was penalty shootouts in each match for a winner. The Accrington Shamble keeper was in heroic form and won both penalty shootouts to win the Plate final. (Unfortunately the photo of them was corrupted when I put it on my computer so no photo)

Buckingham Star League 6-a-Side Football

The winter league finished with only the third team to complete the double in the league history. Goals Aloud won the league on the last league fixture and cruised to a 6-2 win in the Swan Shield cup final. (Photo 1)

Newcomers to the league AGEGE Boys battled a close contest with Unathletic Bilbao and came out 3-2 winners to take the Swan Plate. (Photo 2)

Buckingham Star League 6-a-Side Football

The summer 2021 season finished with the new League, Swan Shield and Plate champions crowned.

Buckingham Star League Champions - (Photo 1)
Goals Aloud - Managed to complete an invincible season winning all 16 of their matches. They scored 128 goals in 16 matches with Jamie Robinson winning the golden boot with 46 goals and collected 7 man of the matches.

Buckingham Swan Shield - (Photo 2)
Feazy Utd - Feazy took full advantage of Goals Aloud's cup exit turning them into the favorites for the cup final. They comfortably won, with Matt Ogle bagging the cups golden boot.

Buckingham Swan Plate - (Photo 3)
Unathletic Bilbao - This is a competition for the teams knocked out of the group stage in the Swan Shield. It was a hard fought battle with Mursley Marvels going to a penalty shootout.

Buckingham Star League, Swan Shield & Plate Winners

Puyol Pants Down complete the double, only the second to do so in the leagues history, however the manner in which they won is unrivalled. Winning 19 of their 20 matches, scoring 142 goals, with a goal difference of 123.
Puyol Pants Down completed a 8-0 win over ABCDE FC in the Swan Sheild Final to complete a great season.
