Motherhood, deeply fulfilling, but can also feel isolating at times - which is why I am introducing Nurture Club.

A space designed for mothers, this Nurture Club event is a moment to exhale, reconnect and gently move your body all with your baby right beside you.

A flow of restorative mat Pilates sequences designed to rebuild strength, honour our bodies and support the season of life we are all in together šŸ¤

After class, you’re invited to take a moment to enjoy a soothing herbal tea and let meaningful conversations unfold with new connections.

If you have been cleared to exercise as normal and safely by a healthcare professional (doctor, physio) and have a pre-crawling baby (or a little one happy to relax in a bouncer for the session), then this class offers a gentle way to begin your week šŸ¤

Hello Everyone!

A couple of spaces have opened up for my Pilates class tonight at 6pm… so if you’re looking for a little pre-Valentines self love, then I would love to have you join us on the mat ā™„ļø

All classes are designed for mixed ability, strength, alignment and functional movement. So all levels welcome and supported as long as you’re safe to exercise!

Suffer from knee or hip pain? This weeks session is all about strengthening the main supporting muscles: Quads, Adductors, Hamstrings, Calves & Glutes.

After personally suffering with chronic knee & hip pain, I’m obsessed with understanding exactly how to keep them as happy and healthy as possible and sharing the importance of this.

Work on the below exercises regularly for stronger and pain free movement šŸ¤

*take each movement slow and controlled and remove the band if needed*

šŸ¦‹ 1 - Banded Adductor lifts / pulses:
Keep the moving leg elongated with a flexed foot to focus on the back of the leg, squeezing at the top.
10 reps & 20 mini pulses to finish

šŸ¦‹ 2 - Banded Abductor / single leg kicks:
Lengthen through the hip and don’t lift too far past hip height.
10 reps

šŸ¦‹ 3 - Shoulder bridge with leg extension:
Point the foot to lift and flex to lower. Engage and drive through standing leg.
5-8 reps per leg

šŸ¦‹ 4 - Banded single leg glute bridge:
Actively engage through standing leg and keep lofted leg in table top.
5-8 reps per leg

šŸ¦‹ 5 - Banded horse kick with hamstring curls:
Lower onto opposite forearm to moving leg.
Keep the moving leg straight and lifted when extending the foot away and squeeze heel toward buttocks.
5-8 reps per leg

šŸ¦‹ 6 - Prone diamond lifts:
Keep heels good together, knees wide apart and squeeze the glutes to lift.
5-8 lifts

The New Year is approaching fast and what better opportunity to try something new… perhaps joining us for mat sessions at Molly Moves?

From January, I will be adding a BRAND NEW day to our regularly Pilates sessions so you have a weekday & weekend to choose from! All classes are mixed ability and therefore open to anyone who would like to start their Pilates journey in 2024.
