Important event update 🔔

We have made the difficult decision to postpone Clash of Claydons.

After reviewing our plans, we believe postponing is the right decision to ensure we can deliver the experience our participants and community deserve.

We’re working to confirm a new date and will share it as soon as possible. Everyone who has already registered will be contacted directly with further information about their entry.

We know this news will be disappointing, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support.

After an incredible showing from Team GB at the 2026 European Athletics Championships, we’ve been reminded just how powerful sport can be in inspiring the next generation.

That’s why, through Clash of Claydons, we’re proud to be funding new athletics kit and equipment for the local Steeple Claydon school.

Because every champion starts somewhere 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re delighted that Clash of Claydons is sponsoring the Steeple Claydon Allotment & Horticultural Society Annual Show.

Community is a huge part of what we want Clash of Claydons to be about, so it’s brilliant to support a much-loved local event and the people who make it happen.

It’s official - here’s your first look at the Clash of Claydons race route 👟✨

Starting from the event village, the course takes runners through the surrounding countryside before completing a full tour of Steeple Claydon.

Expect a mix of village roads, quiet country lanes and open rural views, creating a varied and rewarding route from start to finish.

Whether you’re taking on your first 10K or aiming for a new PB, this is a course to look forward to.

🍴🎶 Meet some of the brilliant vendors joining us at the Clash of Claydons!

We’re building more than just a 10K race - we’re creating a full event-day experience for runners, supporters and the local community.

Here are some of the confirmed businesses and entertainers joining us:

🍽️ Cornwall Place Kitchen, with Pure Patisserie on their stand, keeping everyone well fed with delicious food and treats.

🎧 DJ Digital-Pocahontas, bringing the music and race-day atmosphere.

✨ PampaCandi, helping you look your best throughout the day.

🏰 Brew & Bloom play cafe, keeping families entertained.

👟 Up & Running Milton Keynes, on hand for any last-minute running essentials, advice or kit you might need.

Did you see Josh Kerr and keely Hodgkinson at the diamond league performing at the peak of British athletics.

We are looking to help inspire the next generation of athletes and to do this will be using the funds of the event to help purchase more kit and equipment for there sports programs.

Therefore, your entries are directly helping the next generation, and whats a better way to inspire them by running on the day yourself!
