2 weeks work of power washing and cleaning and then the total re painting of all the courts by the club members.
3 days later the rains came and sadly our club is now under water.

Equally a massive thankyou to www.rumblebrackley.com for stepping in to help with the catering on Sunday after we were let down at the last minute.

A project nigh on a year in planning has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Suffice to say this weekend will live on with everyone who took part in it.
Our guests from Denmark, Germany and Italy came, they saw and they nearly conquered :).
Many new friends made and the odd beverage was drunk.
These pictures are a snapshot in time that I hope will live on forever.
On behalf of Buckingham lawn tennis club and the simply marvellous team Buckingham Twinning Association we absolutely thankyou all from the bottom of our hearts.
Farewell for this year but full steam ahead for next.

A very successful club open day. The courts were full all afternoon. Thanks to the members and organisers who all played their part in ensuring the public had a great day on and off the courts.

Our neighbours are having their open day.
Many from Bucks tennis have had the pleasure of spending the evening having a few drinks after tennis and even tried our hands at bowling.
No finer way to spend a the day.

We're open to anyone and everyone who has been thinking about taking up tennis or getting back Into tennis. Feel free to pop down and pay us a visit.
Will you be brave enough to test how fast you can serve ?.
Club members will be onsite to help with any questions you will have.

Evening to everyone.
The International tennis tournament is fast approaching.
Buckingham tennis club is thoroughly looking forward to welcoming our international guests from the 17th May to the 20th May.
This promises to be a fun filled weekend from start to finish.
We can't guarantee you Federer or Graff but we will guarantee great food, drinks, laughter, dancing all interlaced with the best tennis we have to offer.
This of course is a friendly fun tournament against our European neighbours but equally we want to win 🏆.
Let battle commence and we all pray for sunshine 🌞.
Let's get a massive crowd to support each and everyone of the players.
We're working with the lovely team from Buckingham Twinning Association without who, this fantastic event wouldn't be feasible.
Drinks and snacks will be available all day Saturday from our friends at the bowling club next door.

Buckingham tennis club vets finals day.
Torrential rain up untill midday and then like the red sea the clouds parted to give us uninterrupted sun and scorching temperatures of at least 12 and sometimes 13 degrees.
This allowed for a great day of tennis with fabulous people.
Exactly what club tennis is about.
Proud to call this club my own.
