SLSGB Surf Coach Safety & Rescue Awards - Cullen - September 🛟

We are running a 3 day course on Friday 18th-20th September in Cullen.

If you are looking to work as a surf coach somewhere abroad or at home here in Scotland, then this is the course you need!

Includes:
- Delivery of the 3 day course by our qualified Trainer Assessor, Toby
- Comfortable indoor venue for course delivery
- Booked swim lane for timed swim
- Award assessment fees
- Wetsuit hire if needed

Today, our team took part in valuable continuing professional development, expanding our knowledge and skills for working safely in beach environments, including essential water safety and rescue techniques 🌊

It was a fantastic day of learning, strengthening our expertise, and adding to our qualifications 🎉

The surf is firing 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️

Our Kids Summer Camps have been fully booked this year, but the surf is pumping and we have Surf Lessons running daily around them to make the best of the conditions!

Lessons are available daily at:
🌅 10am
☀️ 2pm
🌇 and on Thursdays at 5pm for ages 7-15 alongside our Nippers Kids Surf Club that runs all season

Summer is here at Blue Coast! ☀️

We have LIMITED SPACES LEFT on our 4 day summer surf camps for 7-15 year olds.

✅ All equipment included
✅ 4 mornings of learning to surf, learning about the sea and water safety, and having fun with new friends
✅ Summer camp certificate - some nippers have 3 of these now!
✅ Running every Monday-Thursday 0930-1230

We're excited to run these again! One of the highlights of the season.

We also have a range of special activities, adventures, and experiences for families and holiday makers available every day through July and August.

The weather is quite nice ... 😄

Super nice conditions for our SUP Tour going out at 2pm today

We also have the option for the SUP Lesson & Tour combo starting at 1pm if you want a refresher or are new to SUP before heading out to explore the coast

This weekend we have Surf, SUP, and Coasteering available with various times and spaces left

Nippers Surf Club → Lesson Assistant → SLSGB qualification 🛟

Isaac has been coming along to our weekly surf club for years now and is super stoked on surfing

Brilliant to see him complete his first Surf Lifesaving qualification in Tube Rescue the other day at Cullen 🎉

Massive thanks to Chris from Aberdeen Surf Life Saving Club for coming through to Cullen to deliver some training and support our mentoring hours for Training Assessing in-house

It's always been really important for us to establish a training pathway from club to vocational qualifications. Stoked to see the plan come together!
