The team are all set for what promises to be a fantastic day raising funds for Moray Reach Out.

🎟️ Raffles and Lucky Squares are available at the desk throughout the day, with some great prizes up for grabs!

🍳 Annies Wee Catering Co will be serving food throughout the day, so make sure to stop by for something to eat.

🎶 And the day doesn’t finish when the golf does - Rachel Turner will be live in the Club from 7-10pm this evening!

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of our members, Ian McKenzie, last week. Ian was a well-liked and highly respected member of Buckpool, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Our thoughts and condolences are with Ian’s partner Marion, his family, and his many friends at this very sad time.

Yesterday marked the first playing of the Ian McKenzie Quaich, a new trophy put up by the Buckpool Seniors to be contested at their annual match against Keith Golf Club in Ian’s memory. It is a particularly fitting fixture for a trophy bearing Ian’s name. Ian began his golfing days as a member at Keith before later moving to Buckpool, giving him a strong connection with both clubs. The match resulted in a 5-1 victory for Keith. Following play, Bruce Fettes presented the Quaich and gave a vote of thanks and a fitting tribute to Ian.

The Ian McKenzie Quaich will now be contested annually between Buckpool and Keith, providing a lasting tribute to Ian and ensuring his name and his connection with both clubs are remembered for many years to come.

Ian will be very sadly missed by us all.
