All of the above sessions will develop over both Holme Rovers home grounds which now involves our partnership with Bubwith Leisure Centre.
We will be offering refreshment facilities at both Venues, both hot and cold drinks, sausage bacon sandwiches, cold drinks Ice Creams in the hot weather and soups and hot chocolates to keep us warm on those frosty mornings (which seem a distant memory at the moment)
Both venues will accommodate 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 pitches including a 3/4 11v11 pitch.
Both venues will have the stand out Holme Rovers FC age group flags for match days.
Training equipment will be mirrored at both venues, Corner Flags, Respect Rope, Goals.
All any team will need are their own individual subs bench, balls and of course your own players at either venue.
This will be the plan also for any other grassroots clubs who would like to utilise Holme Rovers née partnership.
Over the coming weeks we will have a date in the diary for the vast Holme Rovers Team of volunteers to hold a meet and greet at our additional home ground, we will even bring Rover along if the Bubwith Committee will allow one exception to the Rule of NO DOGS - his behaviour is exemplary.. well last season it was!
Pop down meet the team and see what we are about, you may have a child of any age who would maybe like to get involved or you maybe have some spare time and would like to be involved in this exciting new partnership.
We currently have over 65 volunteers at Holme Rovers and non of this would be possible without them, it is one of the most rewarding things to be part of no matter how much time you have to give. If you would like more details please get in touch. You don’t need to be into sport, not into football you may be great at organising, communicating, have a spare hour to mark a pitch or just keen to get involved with a great set of people to want to be able to allow all kids and adults regardless of ability the opportunity to play football or be involved at whatever level suits them best.
We would be looking at the possibility of holding a charity match or similar events at the Bubwith ground if anyone has suggestions from the local community would be welcomed.
