Due to yesterday’s torrential rain, our bunkers have sustained significant sand damage.

Our team will be working over the next few days to restore and reshape them. In the meantime, preferred lies in bunkers will be in place until further notice.

The course will reopen today at 12:00pm, we have opened up the tee sheet and members can now book on through the BRS App.

Greens Maintenance Notice ⛳️

The greens are being spiked this morning using the Aerocore with pencil tines.

This essential maintenance has numerous benefits for the greens, including:

* Improving drainage
* Relieving soil compaction
* Increasing oxygen exchange in the root zone
* Encouraging stronger, healthier root growth

These benefits help produce healthier turf and will improve the quality and consistency of the putting surfaces in the weeks ahead.

The Greenkeepers have been out on the greens this morning applying a wetting agent. This treatment helps water pe*****te the soil profile more evenly, reducing localized dry spots and improving moisture distribution across the greens.

Applying the wetting agent during rainfall is ideal, as the rain helps wash the product into the surface where it can begin working effectively.

Greens Maintenance Notice ⛳️

The greens are being top dressed this morning as part of our essential maintenance programme.

Top dressing helps dilute thatch, improves drainage, and enhances the firmness and smoothness of the putting surfaces. The sand will usually take a few days to work its way down into the grass sward, so the greens may appear a little sandy during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. This important maintenance will help keep the greens in the best possible condition going forward

We have been monitoring the weather front that has been making its way up the eastern coast and we are pleased to say it has pushed its way out to see off the fife coast and we will be staying clear of it.

We will reopen the course at 12pm and look forward to seeing you all down.
