Broughton Ravers has a new girls' football team :)

The Bumblebees will play league football at U12 from September 2022.

They train on Fridays at 6.30pm on Broughton playing field by the sports centre. For more information please contact Steve Watson on 07840055462 or email [email protected]

Broughton Ravers also runs Wildcats sessions for girls of all ages. Mark Fox - [email protected] - will be happy to provide more information.

I found lots of team photos, match reports etc of the Ravers girls' teams dating from 2005-2015 hiding on my hard drive during the last lockdown.

Seemed a shame to keep them hidden away (and I needed something to do!) so I resurrected the old team website and updated it with the material that I found.

You've had an amazing 8 or 9 years and I feel privileged to have been involved.

Nearly 700 goals scored, only 100 or so conceded, won the league six times and the cup four times. Only lost five league games in all that time.

Some impressive tournament victories and too many great memories to count.

Thank you for the card and the gift. It's very much appreciated.

I have had a great time coaching the Ravers for the last four or five years. It's been fantastic seeing you develop into a powerful team...probably the best girls team in Lincolnshire...and even better seeing you play the game the right way...with a smile on your faces!

I know you will go onto even bigger and better things in the years to come.

Your fourth consecutive league title!

I thought it would be hard to top last season but you've done it - you've won every game!!

It really is a fantastic achievement and I'm sure you're all very proud, as I am.
