⚾ BLACK SOX – SESSION #20 ⚾

Unfortunately, this weekend’s Black Sox session has had to be cancelled due to ballpark availability, but we’ll be back Saturday 26th at the same time and place.

And it’s a special one…

🔥 SESSION #20 – THE FINAL OUTDOOR SESSION OF OUR INAUGURAL SEASON! 🔥

We’ll be out there, loud and proud, making the most of it.

From our very first session to number 20, it’s been quite a journey — and this is just the beginning.

Saturday 26… Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground, 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

A big thank you to Quorn Blue Sox and Birmingham GOATs Youth Baseball for making it such a great event. ⚾

⚾ TRAINING CANCELLED TODAY 🌧️⛈️

Unfortunately, today’s Black Sox training is cancelled due to the weather.

The forecast is drizzle throughout the afternoon, along with a yellow warning for thunderstorms — and thunder is an immediate hard stop for us. Safety first!

It’s a shame to break the run, because we’ve had a fantastic 17 consecutive Saturdays of training, with only a two-week break for the holidays. That’s some serious commitment from our players and parents! 👏🖤⚾

So, have a great (and hopefully not too wet!) Saturday, everyone.

What a fantastic day at Farnham Park!

A huge well done to Cole and our Blue Sox friend Mohammed for taking part in today’s Emerging Player Programme — what a great opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy the game at this level. 👏

The Broughton Astley Black Sox return to Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground this Saturday for our regular training session.

⚾🦊 **BLACK SOX TRAINING UPDATE** 🦊⚾

A quick update for all Black Sox players and families:

There will be no training session at Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground this weekend as the coaching team will be away on a baseball development day, gaining new ideas and experiences to bring back to our players. ⚾📚

We’ll be back next weekend for Session #15, ready to continue developing skills, building confidence and having fun on the diamond!

Enjoy the weekend, stay active, and we look forward to seeing everyone back next Saturday.
