An opportunity to work within a new team at the National Clay Shooting Centre (NCSC) based in Bisley, Surrey.
NCSC offers world class clay shooting facilities for all Clay Shooting disciplines and hosts domestic and international competitions. We are recruiting for the role of “NCSC Shooting Manager”, a full time position 5 days week, which includes most weekends.
Salary range 30-35K dependent on experience.
We are looking for a flexible, smart and personable manager who interacts well with customers.
Essential Skills:
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Previous experience of management or similar role.
• A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• A good understanding of the Home and Olympic Clay Shooting disciplines.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications and a good understanding of advertising using social media.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Management of the day to day running of shooting at NCSC.
• Management of 3 full time and 4 part time shooting staff.
• Coordination, organisation and running of competitions.
• Coordinate maintenance of all equipment.
• Event marketing and new business generation.
• Responsible for the Health and Safety requirements for the range and Clubhouse.
Qualifications:
• CPSA Safety Officer Course (training can be provided).
• Shooting Instructor Qualification (desirable not essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
