🎾 Tennis is coming to Summer Fun 2026 at Sanders Park! 🎾

We are delighted to be part of Bromsgrove District Council’s Summer Fun programme this year.

Join us every Tuesday from 21st July – 25th August, 10am–12pm, for Tennis in the Park at Sanders Park.

Whether your child has never picked up a racket before or already loves the game, we’ll have plenty of fun activities, games and challenges to get everyone moving and enjoying tennis.

✅ Part of the Summer Fun programme

We’re looking forward to introducing even more local families to tennis this summer and helping people discover everything Sanders Park Tennis has to offer.

This week we’re celebrating the incredible people who give their time to help others, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to our amazing Barclays Free Park Tennis Activator Team at Sanders Park.

Every Saturday morning our volunteers give up their time to help open up tennis to the local community. They welcome new players, support families, set up activities, encourage participants and help create the friendly atmosphere that makes Free Park Tennis so special.

Their enthusiasm, kindness and commitment help make tennis accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background or ability.

Without volunteers, community programmes like this simply wouldn’t be possible.

Thank you to every member of our activator team for helping us bring free tennis to Bromsgrove and for making Sanders Park such a welcoming place to play.

🎾 Another brilliant week of community tennis at Sanders Park 🎾

It was fantastic to see 8 players across two courts for our second week of Adult Social Tennis on Tuesday evening 👏

Then on Saturday, Barclays Free Park Tennis was fully booked once again, with lots of families enjoying time together on court.

We’ve also seen growing numbers at our Monday Walking Tennis sessions, which is fantastic to see as more people discover the social and wellbeing benefits of tennis 💚

The Sanders Park Tennis community is continuing to grow week by week and we’re so grateful to everyone who comes along and supports the sessions.

🎾 There really is something for everyone at Sanders Park — and there’s even more to come soon…

Another fantastic full session of Barclays Free Park Tennis at Sanders Park with lots of fun, energy and smiles on court.

It’s brilliant to see so many families coming together each week and the confidence and tennis skills continuing to grow session by session 👏

🎾 Another fantastic morning of Barclays Free Park Tennis at Sanders Park today 🎾

It’s brilliant to see so many people out on court enjoying tennis, developing new skills and building confidence each week. The progress being made across the sessions has been amazing to watch 👏

A small reminder — if you book a place and later realise you can’t attend, please try to cancel your booking where possible so another child or family has the opportunity to join the session.
