Discipline will help you achieve anything.

It’s staying in a calorie deficit when fat loss feels slow.
It’s getting your steps in when the sofa is calling.
It’s refusing the cake when it’s practically screaming “eat me.”

Walking is one of the most underrated fat loss tools there is 🚶‍♂️🔥

Everyone wants the perfect workout split, the best fat-burning exercise, or the magic cardio routine…

But most people are missing the obvious:

Move more every day. 👣

56K steps a week is a solid starting point.

That’s roughly 8,000 steps a day ✅

But if you can build towards 70K–84K steps per week, you’ll often notice a big difference without needing to destroy yourself with extra cardio sessions.

Why?

Because walking is low stress, easy to recover from, good for your health, and it quietly increases your weekly calorie output 📈

No fancy hack.

No punishment cardio.

No overcomplication.

Just consistent daily movement 💪

If your fat loss has stalled, don’t just look at your gym sessions.
Look at what you’re doing during the other 23 hours of the day ⏰

ONE change that fixed my fat loss plateau… 👇
I stopped guessing… and started tracking EVERYTHING properly.
Not just the “healthy meals” either.

I mean: ✔️ Cooking oils
✔️ Sauces
✔️ Snacks while cooking
✔️ Drinks
✔️ The little bites that “don’t count” 👀

Most fat loss plateaus happen because calories slowly creep up without people realising it.

And a second thing that changed everything?

Taking a short diet break after every 5kg lost.

Instead of endlessly slashing calories, I’d spend a few days eating at maintenance:

✅ More energy
✅ Better gym performance
✅ Less cravings
✅ Easier to stay consistent long term

Fat loss isn’t about suffering harder.

It’s about managing the process smarter.

Not all glute exercises are created equal. Some activate the glutes significantly more than others — and knowing the ranking helps you build smarter workouts. Here's how the most common glute exercises stack up based on research. 📊

1) Hip thrusts take the top spot. They produce the highest peak glute activation of any exercise because the resistance is heaviest at full hip extension — exactly where your glutes are strongest. No other exercise loads the glutes this directly at end range. 🏆

2) Bulgarian split squats rank second because they combine a deep stretch at the bottom with single-leg demands that force each glute to work independently. Long stride + controlled depth = massive glute stimulus. 💪

3) Romanian deadlifts are third — they load the glutes and hamstrings through hip extension with heavy weight. The eccentric stretch under load is a powerful growth driver. 🔥

4) Cable pull-throughs provide constant tension throughout the entire range — something free weights can't do. They're also very joint-friendly and easy to learn. Great for beginners and as an accessory movement. 🧠

5 & 6) Barbell squats and leg presses rank lower for pure glute activation — not because they're bad exercises, but because they're more quad-dominant. You can shift emphasis to glutes with foot placement and depth, but they'll never isolate glutes like hip thrusts. 🦵
The best approach: combine 2–3 exercises from different positions on this list. One hip extension movement (hip thrust or RDL) plus one squat pattern (Bulgarian or squat). Train glutes 2–3x/week.
