Boars Cricket Amatuer club who run three saturday sides catering for all levels, sunday cricket and a thriving junior section 🐗

Founded in 1842, Bromsgrove CC is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the county. Don't let that fool you though we are also one of the most forward thinking and provide some of the best facilities. We have 4 teams on a Saturday, 2 on a Sunday and provide junior cricket from 5-16 years old. We also have links to the Old Doms Cricket Club so if you fancy a bit of social cricket instead then let us know

A standout performance earns this week’s honour for Jack White 👏

A match-winning spell for the 1st XI saw Jack claim a superb 5-wicket haul, turning the game on its head and securing a brilliant comeback victory 🔥

STAR PERFORMERS 🌟🏏

Some outstanding individual displays across the club this week 👏

For the 1st XI, Ryan Pedley was in superb touch, finishing unbeaten on 76 to guide Bromsgrove past 200 💥

With the ball, Jack White then stole the show — a brilliant 5-wicket haul helping seal a memorable comeback victory 🔥

In the 2nd XI, skipper Alistair Hickman continued his fine season with another composed half-century, leading from the front once again 💪

The 3rd XI also saw captain Mark Bilbrough produce a match-defining 88*, well supported by wicketkeeper Timmy Barnes with 56, as the pair set Harborne a daunting 224 🏆

WEEKLY ROUND-UP 🏏

A rollercoaster week for Bromsgrove CC!

The 1st XI produced a stunning comeback on Saturday, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat against Pershore in a game that had everything 👏🔥

It wasn’t the same fortune for the 2nd XI, who fell to a tough away defeat at Bartestree, but the 3rd XI kept their excellent form rolling with a convincing win over Harborne 💪

Last night saw the 1st XI take to the biggest stage in the Worcs League Midweek T20 Final. Despite a strong campaign, it wasn’t to be, as Netherton proved worthy winners. A fantastic run to the final though — plenty to be proud of for Will Tuffin and his men 👊

Eyes now firmly on the league run-in… let’s finish strong ❤🐗

🏏 A Fantastic Day at Bromsgrove Cricket Club!

Yesterday, we were incredibly proud to host the Vitality Blast Women’s League Two clash between Worcestershire Rapids and Middlesex 💫

A superb performance saw the Rapids secure a convincing 9-wicket victory, with Bryony Gillgrass stealing the show with an outstanding unbeaten half-century 👏🔥

It was a brilliant day for the club, and it was fantastic to see so many members, supporters, and families enjoying both the action on the pitch and everything our club has to offer ❤🐗

A huge thank you goes to everyone behind the scenes who made the day such a success — our dedicated ground team, committee members, and volunteers who worked tirelessly both in the lead-up and on the day 🙌

Special thanks also to SE Catering for providing pre-match food for players, coaches, support staff, and volunteers 🍽️

We hope everyone had a great day, and we look forward to welcoming Worcestershire CCC back to Bromsgrove again soon!
