We are incredibly proud to announce that Toby Russell is officially Legacy Martial Arts’ FIRST EVER Junior Instructor! 👏🎉

Toby joined Legacy in December 2022 after discovering Martial Arts through our after-school course at St John’s C of E Middle School Academy. Since then, Toby has shown incredible dedication, discipline, respect and perseverance, consistently demonstrating what it means to have a true Black Belt Attitude.

Always willing to help others, Toby is a fantastic role model for our younger students and has become a hugely valued member of the Legacy Team.
Becoming our first Junior Instructor is a fantastic achievement and one Toby has truly earned through years of hard work and commitment.

🥋 MAT CHATS | More Than Just Martial Arts

Martial Arts is about so much more than learning techniques.
Sometimes the most important lessons happen when we simply sit down, listen and talk.

Our Chief Instructor taking a moment with our younger students to talk about perseverance, consistency, giving yourself time to learn and developing a Black Belt attitude. 💪

You don’t have to get everything right. Making mistakes is part of learning. What matters is having the patience to keep trying, the consistency to keep showing up and the perseverance to keep moving forward.

These are the lessons we want our students to carry with them both on and off the mat.
