It will be an informative afternoon of short talks plus a BBQ lunch, so bring your club for an afternoon at the lake! Open to anyone who owns watersports equipment.

This year we will be running the first EVER Wimbleball Youth Sailing Regatta, in partnership with Wimbleball Sailing Club and Royal Yachting Association Onboard, on 18th of September⛵️

Participants must be under 16.
There will be three fleets: Bronze (youth stage 2+) – Coach SWLT , Silver (Youth stage 3+) – Coach TBC, and Gold (youth stage 4+) Coaching – Duncan West RYA

Timings: 10:00 – 12:00 coaching💪 13:00 – 15:00 racing🏁

Fees:
Entry is £15 per person
Bring your own boat or hire for £15 per boat (fun boats/ Pico’s / fusions)

NEW FOR 2021

We are very excited to announce that for 2021 we are starting paddleboard membership at Wimbleball Sailing Club. On 15th May, there will be a launch event from 11am-3pm to introduce paddlers to the club. Due to COVID restrictions, this will be limited to 20 paddle boarders. REOPENING

We’re delighted to announce that following the Government’s latest guidelines we will be able to welcome you all back. We’re planning to open the Club again on Easter Sunday and Monday and thereafter on Sundays (including for Racing on Sundays) and Bank Holidays. Saturday sailing is due to start from May 1st and Wednesday sessions are planned to re-commence June 9th.

The Clubhouse will still be out of bounds apart from use of the toilet facilities and the Duty Team in pursuit of Club operation.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Club again.
