Wutan New Forest

Wutan New Forest Wutan New Forest Traditional Chinese Martial Arts has been established over twenty years, teaching authentic external and internal arts including Tai Chi.

Wutan New Forest now has four different schools to suit people from all different walks of life and their various ambitions. For the younger student we have the Dragons programme which is an exciting and fun way for younger students to learn martial arts. The Dragons foundation training will give the younger student the skills that will last a lifetime. There are branches in Brockenhurst and Highc

liffe. The adult Kung Fu classes teach Wing Chun, weapons, throwing, locking, as well as confidence, balance, self-defence, all the usual things that you would expect from a martial arts class, but in a friendly and safe atmosphere, where each and every member is treated as a member of the family according to the Chinese tradition. Then there is the Chinese Kickboxing (San-Da or San-Shou) class which is more suitable for the competitive fighter aged 18-34). This class gives the opportunity to fight at national championships, with a chance to represent team GB in European and International competitions. If you need something more sedate, why not try Tai Chi? It is well known for bringing about substantial health benefits, so why not learn from one of the best in the country? All five traditional styles of Tai Chi are taught, for those that can spare the time to learn them all. Just message us for more details.

So sorry to share the news of the passing of Master Wu Song Fa aged 76 yesterday in Malaysia. He has left behind a wife and two daughters. He was an inspiration to many of us due to his incredible knowledge and skill, the loss of which will be felt very deeply. His legacy will live on through his teachings, and through the countless and precious memories of his students in Malaysia and UK. Please share your memories and respects on this post below.

Hello members. The annual insurance and membership is overdue. I actually paid everybody's membership earlier this month, but it's left me a bit out of pocket! So if you can rustle up some cash in the next couple of weeks, I'd be grateful. No need to fill in forms, just an update on name and address, so I can keep track. Sorry about this, but better to be safe!
