Featuring three levels of polo:

THINKING OF JOINING US THIS WEEKEND? ๐Ÿ‘€๐ŸŽ

One of the questions we're often asked is:

"Is polo safe to watch?"

The answer is yes โ€“ provided everyone follows a few simple common-sense rules.

Polo is played by horses travelling at speed, with players swinging mallets and a hard ball that occasionally has a mind of its own. That's what makes it such an exciting sport to watch!

When you visit New Forest Polo Club, please:

โœ… Stay behind the marked safety

โœ… Keep children supervised at all times

โœ… Dogs are welcome but need to kept on a lead

โœ… Listen to any instructions from officials or volunteers

โœ… Be aware that horses and vehicles may be moving around the grounds

โœ… Never approach horses - they're not always friendly!

The good news? Thousands of people enjoy watching polo every year without incident.

A little awareness goes a long way, allowing everyone to enjoy the action safely while still getting close enough to hear the hoofbeats and feel the excitement.

Polo is thrilling. That's part of the attraction.

Just remember: if the ball is coming towards you, it's probably not looking for an autograph. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The first tournament weekend of the 2026 season is almost here and we are looking forward to welcoming players, members, supporters and visitors to New Park.

With just over a month to go until our Spring Tournament ๐ŸŒฑ , Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May, weโ€™re looking forward to welcoming people back to New Forest Polo Club for the start of the season.

Thereโ€™s something special about the first tournament of the year, a chance to spend time outdoors, enjoy some good polo and settle back into the rhythm of the season. Itโ€™s an easy afternoon to dip in and out of, bring friends along and enjoy the matches from the sidelines.

๐Ÿ‡ The polo season is returning to New Forest Polo Club and weโ€™re looking forward to welcoming players, members, spectators and supporters back to the club this summer.

๐Ÿ“… Our main tournament weekends for the 2026 season are now confirmed:

โ€ข Spring Tournament: 30โ€“31 May
โ€ข Blue Jackets: 20โ€“21 June
โ€ข Kuseyo Cup: 11โ€“12 July
โ€ข Barfoot Bowl: 5โ€“6 September

The season begins in April, with matches and club chukkas leading up to the first tournament weekend at the end of May.

๐ŸŒฟ Spectators are always very welcome at the club. Whether youโ€™re a polo enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxed afternoon in the New Forest, itโ€™s a lovely place to bring a picnic, enjoy the atmosphere and watch the ponies in action.

Across the season we also welcome social members, local businesses, charities, and artisan vendors or exhibitors who would like to be part of events at the club.

We look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and hopefully a few new ones, around the club this summer.
