Nothing scary about learning anatomy for yoga with Doctor Yogi this Halloween weekend! Brilliant workshop at Whitespace Studio this weekend where we focused on the latest evidence-based scientific thinking around our anatomy and how to work with our own unique anatomy in our practice. Key take always for me:

Davis’ Law “Use It or Lose It” means it’s important to safely ‘stress’ our ligaments to keep them healthy

Our anatomy is unique to us—not one part of our bodies is symmetrical nor the same as anyone else. When you can’t do that hip opener, maybe it’s to do with your anatomy so quieten down that inner critic pushing you

Our feet have three arches and how we use our feet is key to how we experience our practice
