Cotswold Cup Solihull post match report: The Ginger Princess was again on fire and we nailed another DC and top 10 placing for more points in the table - woo hoo! I hiked up the hill to see Jill last night, as is now the pre Solihull tradition, and as we were doing shoulder in down the hedge line in our dressage warm up a fox poked its head out and stared at us! Cue much snorting from Princess P but I wonder if that was Jill checking up on us 🦊?? We then went clear in the SJ and, despite me riding like Billy-o XC and being in the right place on the minute markers, we galloped through the dingle/quarry (?) and over the brush fences (I know my eyes appear to be shut in the pic - whoops - but Paris looks great 🤣) and came through the flags 2 sec over by my watch (the scoreboard says 5 sec though!) but we had an absolute blast! Missy P particularly loved the two gallopy sections through the woods hence the “I don’t want to go home, can’t we stay out and play some more” face in the pic once the horses were loaded up ready to go 🤣.
