✅ 2nd XI beat Blockley by 8 wickets

Blockley: 180-7 from 40 overs
Broadway: 184-2 from 29 overs

A dominant chase from the 2nd XI, picking up a brilliant 21 points on the road! 💪

❌ 1st XI lost to Elmley Castle by 44 runs

Elmley Castle: 287-6 from 45 overs
Broadway: 243-9 from 45 overs

A tough result, but a battling response from the 1st XI against strong opposition.

One final weekend to go. Let’s finish the season strongly! 💚💛

🏏 TWO GAMES TO GO, EVERYTHING STILL TO PLAY FOR! 🏏

A huge Saturday awaits for both Broadway CC senior sides as we enter the final two games of the season. 💚💛

🏠 1st XI: Home v Elmley Castle

Broadway currently sit 3rd, within touching distance of the top two and still firmly in the promotion race.

Elmley Castle arrive in 5th place with promotion ambitions of their own, so this promises to be a massive game for both teams!

🚌 2nd XI: Away v Blockley

The 2nd XI currently sit 4th, but still have an opportunity to finish as high as 2nd with two games remaining.

There is plenty to play for, so let’s keep the momentum going and finish the season strongly!

🍻 The bar will be open from midday until the sun goes down at Broadway.

🏏 Broadway CC Weekend Results 🏏

A brilliant Saturday for Broadway CC, with two wins and maximum points for both senior sides! 💚💛

1st XI
The 1st XI produced an outstanding run chase away at Leek Wootton.

After the hosts posted 234-9 from 45 overs, Broadway raced to 236-4 in just 36.5 overs, securing a superb 6-wicket victory and collecting 22 points. 👏

2nd XI
A great all-round performance at home saw the 2nd XI score 173 all out, before bowling Elmley Castle out for just 99 in 26.5 overs.

A convincing 74-run victory and another 22 points for Broadway! 💪

Two wins, 44 points and a fantastic effort from everyone involved as we approach the end of the season.

Thank you to all the players, scorers, volunteers and supporters.

🏏 Broadway CC Weekend Round-Up 🏏

A tough weekend for both senior sides, but plenty of positives to take forward.

1st XI Broadway CC 305/6 (45) Woodbourne CC 399/6 (45)

Despite a strong batting effort and posting 305, the 1st XI came up against a powerful Woodbourne side and fell short by 94 runs.

2nd XI Earlswood CC 170 all out (39.3) Broadway CC 173/3 (29.4)

A superb performance from the 2nd XI, chasing down 171 with ease to secure a 7-wicket victory. A disciplined bowling display followed by a confident run chase earned a valuable 21 points.

✅ 2nd XI win by 7 wickets ❌ 1st XI lose by 94 runs

Well done to everyone who represented the club this weekend, and thank you to all our supporters. On to the next one! 💙🏏

🏏 Broadway CC Weekend Results Round-Up 🏏

A mixed weekend for Broadway CC, with a brilliant win for the 1st XI and a tough day on the road for the 2nd XI.

💚💛 1st XI
A fantastic performance at home as Broadway chased down 188 to beat Shipston-on-Stour CC - 2nd XI by 8 wickets.

After Shipston posted 187-6 from 45 overs, Broadway responded in style, reaching 188-2 in just 29 overs. A dominant chase, a great result, and 21 points on the board. 👏

That win sees the 1st XI move joint top of the table going into the final month of the season — all to play for! 💪

💚💛 2nd XI
The 2nd XI battled away at Exhall & Wixford CC, posting 164-9 from 40 overs, but the hosts chased it down to finish 167-3 and win by 7 wickets.

Not the result the lads wanted, but they remain in a strong position, sitting 4th in the table as we head into the last month of the season.
