Last Friday at Our Lady Immaculate Catholic
Primary School in Tolworth, Mr Richardson and Mrs Yeomans, two passionate professional teachers, summed up exactly why Skip2Bfit should be in every primary school.
Once schools actually see Skip2Bfit in action, they get it.
This is so much more than “just skipping”.
It’s measurable.
It’s inclusive.
It engages the whole school.
It supports enrichment, personal development, resilience, wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.
Children absolutely love it because they can challenge themselves and improve their own personal best scores in just two minutes.
For many schools, it’s also a fantastic alternative to the Daily Mile, especially where space, weather or timetable pressures make outdoor activity difficult. The two-minute challenge can be delivered quickly, effectively and with real impact.
The latest focus within education on enrichment, wellbeing, active lifestyles and personal development makes programmes like Skip2Bfit more important than ever.
We’ll keep banging the drum because we genuinely believe every child should experience this.
Headteachers, PE leads, PTAs and School Councils, if you want an enrichment day that children will still be talking about weeks later, contact us.
