Broadstairs LTC junior player Marie is preparing this week to represent Kent in the 11U County Cup over the weekend.
Over the extremely hot Bank Holiday weekend, Marie played in the 11U national grass championships. Her first match was against the 15th seed in a match that lasted nearly 3 hours.
Her coach was very proud of the way she kept fighting despite the heat, saving 4 match points in the deciding tie break before eventually losing 10-12.

Even today’s weather can’t keep these guys away… Almost a full house for socials tonight.

Our Ladies 1 & Mens 3 battled hard this afternoon in sweltering 30 degree heat at Shooters Hill 🥵 ! Despite winning three championship tiebreaks both teams lost overall but came away smiling 🎾 🌞 👏🏼
