Our Open One Day and Two Day Events are open to everyone, with classes at 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm.

Today’s going report from Mark Lucey -
We are comfortable with the ground conditions and, together with the Barbury Estate team, have done everything possible to present the ground as well as it can be on this wonderful old turf.

A huge amount of work has gone in behind the scenes and we will continue to monitor conditions closely throughout the weekend.

Competitor Information for Barbury Castle Horse Trials this weekend

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming you all. Just a few reminders ahead of the weekend:

• Times are now live on Eventing Scores
• The XC course will be open to walk from 2pm on Friday 29th
• Please make sure you have printed your number before arriving
• will be onsite throughout the weekend taking photos
• Equireel will also be joining us, capturing every rider over every fence
• A selection of food, drinks and ice cream will be available onsite
• We will also have a small selection of trade stands, including who all weekend
• Please be mindful that the site layout has changed this year and follow the one-way system onsite
• Speeds have been adapted to allow competitors to ride to the conditions
• Cool down areas and a vet will be available at the finish
• Please make sure both you and your horse stay hydrated throughout the day

We are also monitoring the current Equine Flu situation closely. Spot checks will be carried out, so please ensure your horse is up to date with vaccinations and that you have your passport with you.
